Finance Reporting Analyst

Description:

Our Hereford based client is seeking a Finance Reporting Analyst to join them on a part time, temporary basis to support a finance project across their internal finance department. The successful candidate will be experienced with audit support and costings including delivered margin, contribution, and product costing.

You can expect:

* Salary: £30k - £40k per annum, depending on experience

* Working hours: 3 or 4 days per week, our client is offering flexibility on the days/hours

* Temporary role offering an immediate start following an interview process and subject to references

* Approximate 6month duration

Weekly pay

What you will be doing:

* Support annual audit preparation

* Provide analytical support to sales team: costing, pricing, profitability

* Financial team support: standard cost rolls, audit process, budget/forecast process, KPI’s

* Reporting building: Report Now DAS to build reports based on JDE data

* Conversion of local formats into corporate reporting formats

* Support the annual budgeting process (P & L, balance sheet, cash flow)

* Perform analyses on contribution/delivered margin, gross profit and cost savings for existing and new products to ensure long-term profitability

* Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data by evaluating and implementing controls that have an impact on profitability of the company

What we are looking for:

* Understanding of costing – delivered margin, contribution, product costing

* Knowledge of rebate structures

* Competent in Excel

* Experience in collating audit data
