I am seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance Officer (Service Charge) to join within a not for profit team.
Client Details
Our client is a medium-sized housing association that operates within the not-for-profit and charities sector.
Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Officer (Service Charge) will include, but may not be limited to;
Carry out work in relation to service charge setting, including service charge budget and preparing statements.
Prepare a service charge budget
Prepare service charge statements and/or accounts for distribution.
Monitor provision funds on leaseholder schemes.
Record surplus/deficit from annual accounts.
Support the leasehold team to present and discuss annual service charge budget and accounts to leaseholders.
Ensure all monthly rent and service charge reviews for leasehold, shared ownership and sales schemes are actioned.
Provide specific advice and support.
Account for and reconcile income/Profile
A successful Finance Officer (Service Charge) should have:
Not for Profit and Charities background desirable but not essential.
Ability to commute to Carlisle.
A background in Accounting & Finance.
Strong numerical skills.
Proficiency in financial software applications.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and team-working skills.
