Finance Officer (6-month contract)
Location: Stratford, London
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + flexible benefits
This role is for an ambitious accounts assistant who is ready to step up to a Finance Officer position with the support of a successful entertainment company with offices in London, Paris and Dubai.
This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of their finance department, supporting the Group Financial Controller and Finance Manager. Key Duties:
* Create and post sales invoices using our time management system, addressing any related inquiries.
* Maintain continuous communication with operations and clients regarding credit limits, job progression, and invoicing queries.
* Handle invoice queries from clients promptly.
* Regularly engage with clients to ensure effective credit control.
* Keep banking ledgers up to date by recording receipts, payments, and petty cash transactions.
* Perform bank reconciliations efficiently.
* Manage the monthly crew payroll, including creation, submission, and handling any inquiries.
* Process purchase orders and invoices in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
* Strong communication skills.
* A good team player.
* Able to identify and resolve problems promptly.
