Spinwell is recruiting for a Finance Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCE OFFICER
This post will involve working in the management accounting team providing essential financial support to our budget holders alongside your finance colleagues. Your role will be to assist and challenge managers within this difficult financial environment following our financial procedures and guidance.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FINANCE OFFICER
* You will need to be a qualified accounting technician (AAT) or equivalent, or a graduate with a financial degree and preferably have some experience working in a finance team
* You will have strong communication skills, experience of Excel and preferably SAP.
* You must have management accounting experience and supporting budget holders.
* You will be willing to learn and work effectively and efficiently both individually and as part of a wider team.
* You will also have good IT and communication skills.
