We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly successful educational establishment educating around 300 students from ages 2 – 19 with expert care for any specific needs.

Mango Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer to support the Head of Finance to manage the school’s budget, funding, financial planning, and procurement process. Please note this role is term time only.

* Job Title: Finance Officer (Senior level)

* Salary: £14.72/hour, £21,111/annum, plus benefits package

* Employment Type: Permanent, 30 hours/week, term time only, flexible start/finish

* Working Type: Office based in SL6 area

* Essential Criteria:

* Part qualified accountant or recognised bookkeeping qualification, willingness to continue professional development.

* Professional experience with accounting/bookkeeping and using relevant software.

* Experience with credit control, procurement, purchasing, supporting budget holders, solid grasp of accounting fundamentals.

* Strong analytical and communication skills, good IT skills.

* Must be suitable to work in a school environment, good understanding of safeguarding and appropriate conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

The Finance Officer will first and foremost support the Finance team in all finance related duties, including budgeting, analysis, planning, procurement, and more.

The Finance Officer will support with audits, inspections, queries, and reporting.

The Finance Officer will maintain records through day-to-day efforts, keeping on top of all transactions with complete accuracy.
