Description:
Cedar is recruiting a Finance Officer to join a busy Housing Association in London for a 9-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will provide support to Senior Accountants and cover accounts payable duties where necessary.
Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 per annum pro rata'd
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid 1-2 days in the office per week
Responsibilities
Provide day to day finance support to senior members of the finance team
Oversee the general ledger, treasury, cashflow forecasting, bank reconciliations, journals and the cashbook.
Responsibility for all transaction processes suggesting and implementing improvements.
Act as the first point of contact for the business in relation to finance queries and encourage engagement.
Requirements
AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified CCAB
Strong technical accounting ability.
Excellent communicator, confident in dealing with senior members of staff
Good understanding of all transactions processes
Previous experience working in a Housing Association is advantageous but not essential
