Novax Recuitment is actively seeking a Finance Officer based in Colwyn Bay. This is a contract role working full time hours.
The job:
To be responsible for the processes involved with service expenditure and some departmental income
To be responsible for the maintenance both manual and computerised record systems in-line with audit requirements such as authorised signatories list etc.
To support budget holders with the required financial monitoring reports, providing analysis where required.
To process, input and extract data held on the finance sections recording and interface systems to include preparation of journals as required.
To work with the Senior Finance Officer to provide support the Service Management Team and Budget Holders on financial matters including budgets, technical issues and management reporting.
To be responsible for financial services within the Social Services business units.
The candidate:
Experience working in a similar role
Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting systems
Experience of working in a finance environment in a social care/education/public sector environment desired
