This award-winning company are looking to onboard an experienced finance manager to assist in the growth and continued development of the finance team within this brilliant company. The role is an autonomous role where you will have freedom to lead and manage your team as appropriate to you.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with either ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FEMA or equivalent. They will also have some experience managing finance teams, using accountancy software and reporting, delivering and producing reports for clients or the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance manager to join an expanding company, in the highly sought after renewable energy / construction industry, where you will receive industry specific training and opportunities to lead and manage your own team.

The Role:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, including CIS and VAT, and company policies.
Manage the filing of CIS returns accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with the Construction Industry Scheme regulations.
Responsible for all aspects of financial planning, reporting, analysis, monitoring budgets, forecasting and managing costs.
Calculate monthly journals for key balances such as Accruals, Prepayments and Fixed Assets (depreciation).
Develop a consistent capitalisation policy and update the fixed asset register each month to reflect capitalised assets.
Based in brand new office located in the heart of Bristol.The Person:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FEMA).
Experienced in finance management for the Construction and/or District Heating sector.
Managerial experience with proven strong communication and leadership skills.
Looking to join a tightknit team and drive them forward.
