The Client:

Our client is a market leading Manufacturing organisation based in Northumberland.

The Opportunity:

For this Finance Manager position, you will play a key part of the finance function responsible for all financial accounting activity ensuring compliance with relevant GAAP and banking agreements.

Some of the key responsibilities for this successful person would be but no limited to:

* You will complete all statutory activities incorporating HMRC submissions (incl. VAT), both internal and external audit management and completion of financial statements for the UK and Netherlands entities

* Direct line management of a small finance team

* Managing the internal and external audit cycles

* Preparing annual statutory accounts for UK consolidated and Dutch entity

* Managing HMRC related processes - VAT returns, Inward processing authorisation management

* Managing the relationship with the bank incl. the invoice financing facility, cash management and cashflow forecasting

* Monitoring and reporting of all cash payments & receipts

* Balance sheet management of fixed assets, debtors & creditors and cash

* Ensuring accounts are prepared in line with corporate accounting policies

* Reporting responsibility and oversight of our Dutch BV entity

The Candidate:

The successful Finance Manager person will be/have:

To be successful in this role, you will be able to showcase your ability to form strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

* You will be a Qualified Accountant - (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

* You will have experience in fast paced environments with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.

* Manufacturing experience not essential

* You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and appropriate project planning tools to communicate milestones and critical path activities and responsibilities.

* High attention to detail

* Patience and resilience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders

* Completer/Finisher

* Flexibility - able to juggle competing priorities

* Proficency with Excel

* SAP experience preferable, but not essential
