Location: Just Outside Leominster (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £65,000

This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible Finance Manager role where you'll influence operational performance, support strategic decision-making, and play a key part in a business focused on sustainability and resource recovery.
 
Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing sector. They are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to partner with operations and senior leadership, driving financial performance across a complex production environment.
 
The Role  
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you'll have overall responsibility for the site's financial management, reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis. This is a hands-on role requiring strong financial control alongside the ability to provide meaningful insight to operational stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:

Leading the month-end close process and production of management accounts
Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
Delivering board packs, KPI reporting and performance analysis
Managing product costing and manufacturing finance reporting
Analysing margins, profitability and operational performance
Overseeing inventory control, stock reconciliations and working capital management
Supporting capital expenditure projects and engineering spend governance
Producing scenario analysis and business cases to support strategic decisions
Driving financial controls and ensuring compliance with group policies
Working closely with operational, commercial and engineering teams to improve profitability and performance About You  
We're looking for a qualified finance professional who enjoys being close to operations and can translate financial data into actionable business insight.
 
You'll ideally have:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, recycling or a similar operational environment
Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience
A solid understanding of product costing and stock control
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities
A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving What's on Offer?
