FINANCE MANAGER
UP TO £47,000
SHREWSBURY
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:ooam – 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch. It is 100% site based with occasional visits to depots in the local area.
I am recruiting on behalf of a £100m turnover agricultural machinery dealer with sites throughout the region. In this Finance Manager role, you will report into the Group Financial Controller and have responsibility for a team of six transactional staff and be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts.
The post holder will manage the transactional team, be the first POC for day-to-day queries, assist the financial controller to deliver the budget process, prepare the management accounts, assist with the year end audit and provide high quality information. You will have an analytical mind, be a well-developed communicator, self-motivated and can multitask to a high degree.
DUTES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Month/year end process ownership
• Management accounts preparation
• Fixed Asset and HP maintenance
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT Return
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Preparation for year-end audits
• Team management
To be considered for this role you must have previous management experience and be a hands-on finance professional who is used to working in a fast paced environment.
