Finance manager duties are many and varied and to give you a flavour will
* Payroll responsibilities
* Invoicing and credit control
* Processing month end accounts and year end accounts (with support from accountants if required)
* Dealing with expenses
* Producing financial reports including profit and loss assessment.
* Dealing with VAT submissions
Finance manager candidates should be:-
* Flexible in their work, willing to do high levels of data processing as well as handle forecasting and budget planning
* Possess excellent knowledge of HMRC taxation rules
