Description:
CY are exclusively working with a leading, renowned UK wide organisation who require a confident Finance Manager to join one of their established entities within the Group.
As the new Finance Manager, you will be in a pivotal role, adding value and strong financial oversight where needed and taking responsibility for the accurate monitoring and reporting of all financial results for the entity.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
* Responsible for all day-to-day financial aspects of the entity, providing insight and assistance to Management and Operational staff, facilitating sound decision making.
* Assist with and ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines are met.
* Regularly forecast and review budgets and variances to forecasts
* Ensure the accuracy of the P&L Statement and completion of monthly financial reports, in accordance with set deadlines
* Implement and support the Group directives.
* Ensure all receipts are banked promptly and debtor days closely monitored
* Maintain the integrity of the accounting systems and data
* Be responsible for all aspects of the Balance Sheet
* To work closely with Senior Management, provide sound financial advice and assist where required.
Experience and skills required:
* Accountancy Qualification highly desirable ACA/CIMA/ACCA
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and ideally SAP experience.
* Able to demonstrate the self-confidence, commercial acumen and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to produce accurate, timely and reliable complete financial information
* Previous supervisory experience
* UK driving license is required for this position as the role will involve occasional travel
* Project/Contract business experience highly desirable
