A fast-paced, international business in Bath is looking for a Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to start ASAP.
Your new role
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in improving the month-end process and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting. The role will include:
Support the delivery of an accurate and efficient month-end close.
Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Help drive greater automation and efficiency across management accounting.
Act as a key problem-solver, providing accounting expertise and analysis across the team.
Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting.
Work collaboratively across finance to help develop smarter, more streamlined ways of workingWhat you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a proven Finance Manager / Management Accountant that is immediately available or available on short notice. Ideally we are looking for:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Strong management accounting experience
Solid experience of month-end close and financial reporting
Strong technical accounting knowledge
A process-improvement mindset
Ideally, experience using AI or automation tools within finance to improve efficiency and accuracyWhat you'll get in return
