Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a dynamic role with flexibility?

Our client, based in Slough, is seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join their team. This hybrid position requires you to work in the office 2 days a week, offering a great balance between remote and on-site work for a 2 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

CIPFA Asset Register (FAR) Management: Update the FAR to reflect in-year acquisitions, disposals, and additions. Capture various movements as per the valuation report for financial years up to 2023/24, liaising with CIPFA, the Property team, and valuers as needed.
Capital Closedown: Manage capital closedown for financial years from 2021/22 onwards.
Journal Movements: Prepare and post journal movements for each applicable financial year.
Reconciliations: Reconcile the FAR to the Financial Accounting System (General Ledger) and ensure alignment between Finance, Asset Management, and Legal Records.
Capital Notes Preparation: Prepare capital-related notes for the statement of accounts for all outstanding financial years from 2021/22 onwards.
General Accounts Support: Assist with the preparation of general statement of accounts.Key Requirements:

Proven experience in finance management, particularly with capital accounting and asset registers.
Hands-on approach with the willingness to tackle various tasks to bring financial records up to date.
Strong ability to liaise effectively with different teams and external bodies such as CIPFA and valuers.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
