Finance Manager
Salary: £32,000–£35,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex – Office-based
We are looking for an organised and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day finance, invoicing and payments.

Oversee accounts payable, receivable and credit control.
*
Monitor cash flow and manage financial commitments.
*
Support payroll and complete VAT returns.
*
Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and cash flow.
*
Maintain accurate financial records and complete reconciliations.
*
Liaise with external accountants and HMRC.
*
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes.
About You
*
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
*
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*
Good knowledge of financial reporting, VAT and reconciliations.
*
Confident working independently and communicating with management.
