Cedar is currently partnered with private-equity backed agritech business to secure an Interim Finance Manager. The role is an initial 4-month contract, paying a day rate between £(Apply online only) per day.

The Role
The primary goal of the Finance Manager role is to optimise month-end closure procedures, enhance the quality of management reporting data, and prepare the management accounting functions. This involves streamlining processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and proactively aligning systems and practices to bolster future growth.
Responsibilities include:
Lead month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and drive efficiency and accuracy in balance sheet controls.
Revamp core month-end processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Aid in rebuilding of management reporting packs and streamline reporting procedures, responsible for international accounting, management reporting, and statutory compliance.
Implement and maintain robust controls for transaction recording and month-end procedures, improve timeliness and quality of deliverables through Excel proficiency.
Your Profile
The ideal Finance Manager will Ideally have:
A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
Previous experience in management accounting preparation.
An ability to collaborate with diverse personalities and effectively explain finance to non-finance teams.
Strong experience with delivering tight and accurate month end closes, improving processes where needed.
The rate of £(Apply online only) per day represents fair compensation or a reasonable increase from your prior salary or day rate.
