Description:
What if your next move gave you more influence over how a finance function operates, rather than simply inheriting an established way of doing things?
This is a newly created role, giving you the opportunity to shape processes, improve reporting standards and make a visible impact on how finance is delivered across a varied client portfolio.
If your background is in accountancy practice, outsourced finance or a similar professional services environment, you'll be able to use that experience in a role that combines technical finance, team management and client responsibility.
You'll join an outsourced finance business, providing the financial and commercial information clients need to support strategic, commercial and operational decisions.
Sitting between the senior leadership team and the finance team, you'll take responsibility for day-to-day delivery, review and sign-off.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and signing off management accounts packs
Preparing financial budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts
Managing workflow, resources and deadlines across the finance team
Standardising management reporting across the client portfolio
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Managing finance delivery across multiple client entities, ensuring reporting is accurate and on timeYou'll already have experience managing a finance team, reviewing work and taking responsibility for its quality and accuracy.
You'll understand the demands of managing multiple clients, deadlines, chargeable time and utilisation, and be comfortable moving between different client requirements and priorities.
Ideally, you'll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, although someone well progressed towards qualification with the appropriate technical and management experience will also be considered.
If you're ready to take on broader responsibility and make your mark in a newly created role, we'd like to hear from you.
You don't need an up-to-date CV. Apply or contact Natalie Marshall on (phone number removed) or for a confidential conversation
