Description:
Cedar have partnered with a global music/media powerhouse in their search for a Director to manage their RTR (Record to Report) team on a 16 month maternity cover for 16 months.
In this role, you will be have full ownership of managing a team of 28 with 8 direct reports and be available to start mid July at the latest to ensure a 3 month handover with the current post holder.
The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Manage record to report process team of 28 - 9 direct reports and ensure that the team functions effectively and efficiently
Train and develop team
Review RTR processes, implementing change where possible and adopting a policy of continues improvements
Ensure month end close activities are completed accurately and on time
Build and maintain strong relationships with regional CFO's
Serve as point of escalation and final approval - Reconciliation's, Journal entries, financial reports
Track and measure performance against defined KPI's and SLA's
Your Profile:
Qualified accountant
Managed a large RTR team - essential
Experience managing RTR process
Experience of working in a large/multinational business - essential
Strong team management experience
