This exciting high-profile position sits on the UK leadership team as the Finance Director.
This position involves managing financial controls, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, and driving profitability and cost initiatives to maintain competitiveness and achieve targeted returns on investment. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple departments, including sales, operations, and supply chain, to support the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to
* Oversee and manage a team of financial professionals, including 2 Financial Analysts, 1 Finance Manager, and an Accounts Payable Manager.
* Lead strategic projects and investments, providing key financial analysis and support to ensure successful outcomes.
* Collaborate with the commercial and business development teams to support their strategies and identify profitable opportunities.
* Work closely with the operations and supply chain teams to optimise costs and increase efficiency.
* Prepare management accounts and review weekly financial reports.
* Design, update, and maintain financial performance dashboards, providing insights to various teams within the company.
* Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, analysing variances, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and commercial policy.
* Support business development initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and other financial regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
* Qualified accountant with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience.
* Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and other functional areas.
* Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing a team.
* Background in Financial Controlling or Business Analysis within the FMCG or related industries.
