Interim Finance Business Partner

This high-profile London based not for profit organisation is looking to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant for this 3–6-month role, to support and take some of the workload strain from their current finance business partnering/FP&A team, whilst they complete and deliver on a key high-profile project, ensuring effective financial management of the key directorates within the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and supporting the current finance business partners, your daily’s duties will include:

* Responsible for production of monthly financial reporting information for budget holders, including providing commentary on key variances to budget, including stakeholder presentations

* Support with the preparation of budgets; review, analyse and challenge the individual managers and budget holders

* Ensure and complete an efficient month-end reporting processes to ensure that high-quality information is provided to budget holders in line with their requirements

* Support the continuous improvement of the forecasting and budgeting process and performance

* Provide insightful analysis with commentary that will improve future performance

* Ensure the accuracy of the income and expenditure that will facilitate future decision-making and actions

* Responsible for other month end procedures across the organisation, such as the preparation of monthly recharge and accrual journals

The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA qualified accountant. You must have significant management accounting, analysis and budgeting experience, partnering with budget holders and stakeholders to support their decision-making processes.

Within this role you will be required to proactively support the current business partners, assisting the budget holders through the budgeting cycle and forecasting process; so, it is imperative that you have strong stakeholder management skills. You must be proactive and use your imitative working towards the delivery of the required key tasks, whilst possessing strong influencing skills and first class written and verbal communication skills.

For this exciting interim role, it is essential that you have excellent systems skills including being an advanced user of Excel, whilst a working knowledge of Agresso would provide a distinct advantage
