Start: ASAP
Working Pattern: Hybrid - with regular attendance required on site

We're currently looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner / Project Accountant / Programme Accountant to join a South Wales-based organisation on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible.

This is a hands-on role supporting significant infrastructure and project activity, with a strong focus on financial management, governance and commercial decision-making.

Managing and monitoring cashflow and working capital

Supporting capital management and infrastructure-related expenditure

Ensuring strong financial controls and governance are maintained

Providing financial analysis and insight to support project and operational decision-making

Identifying financial risks, opportunities and areas for improved performance

Working collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders and senior management

About You

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has a strong background in project accounting, programme finance or finance business partnering.

You'll ideally have experience of:

Working within infrastructure, capital projects or major programmes

Business case development and/or review

Cashflow and working capital management

Capital expenditure and capital management

Financial controls, governance and risk

Providing commercial and financial insight to senior stakeholders

Working in a complex project or programme environment

You'll be a confident communicator, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where you'll need to add value quickly.

Important

You must be locally based and able to commute to the South Wales site as required. This is a hybrid role, but regular on-site attendance is essential, particularly at the present time.

This is an immediate requirement, so candidates available to start at short notice are strongly preferred.

If you're an experienced Finance Business Partner, Project Accountant or Programme Accountant with infrastructure/project experience and are available for a 6-month FTC, we'd be keen to hear from you
