Finance Business Partner

Description:

Commercial Finance Business Partner to be responsible for accurate reporting and insightful commercial analysis to support with the delivery of divisional performance.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure accurate reporting and understanding of commercial performance.
Provide insightful analysis to support and enhance the business sales and margin performance, proactively challenging performance when required.
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting process and clear analysis of performance versus budget.
Support with supplier negotiations ensuring deep understanding of supplier profitability as well as impacts of costs and product movements.
Lead pricing process to measure the competitiveness of prices within the market and drive appropriate corrective action.
Provide market data to support commercial decision making.
Review trading forecast in line with marketing cycle, identifying forecast performance and risks and opportunities.
Provide insightful analysis and review to support future business sales team decisions.
Ensure accurate invoicing of supplier funding and commercial income in line with deadlines.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills

Part qualified / Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience.
Strong commercial awareness and numeracy skills with a keen desire to question and challenge information.
Experience and evidence of helping businesses deliver and monitor financial performance with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
