Description:
Anderson Knight are delighted to be working alongside our Falkirk based client as they look to appoint a Finance Business Partner. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function, driving the company’s profitability through financial planning and analysis activities.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing business needs.
The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of developing and implementing financial planning and analysis processes.
Responsibilities will include:
* Develop and manage the company’s financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to key stakeholders and senior management to drive overall performance improvement.
* Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, with a focus on risk mitigation.
* Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making in relation to capital expenditure and contract profitability.
* Drive digital transformation within the finance function.
* Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and insights.
* Supporting the onsite finance team where required.
The main candidate will be fully qualified with a strong FP&A background, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Experience with SAP/ERP will also be advantageous. You will be experienced working in a business interfacing role and will have a strong background in solving complex business issues.
You will possess excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, being able to interpret data from external sources and collaborate into strategic plans with clear goals.
To succeed in this role you will need excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders non finance stakeholders.
