Description:
Cedar is collaborating with an esteemed NHS trust based in the South East to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner. The primary function will be to support the Divisions and Directorates by providing information and advice in various areas, primarily budgetary control, efficiency and commercial considerations.
Rate: Band 8B / £230 - £280 per day
Location: South East England
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Finance team to lead and develop staff, conduct financial performance reviews and ensure the financial management function efficiently delivers accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure members of staff develop solid financial understanding and improved budgetary management.
Implement process improvement and transformation and develop a long-term strategy for the financial management service alongside the Senior Finance team to ensure up to date procedures and efficient reporting solutions.
Manage the monthly reporting cycle and deliver financial reports in a timely manner, including ensuring the accuracy of income and expenditure ledger.
Deliver forecasts across the division and partake in the production of monthly reviews.
Oversee the divisional contribution of agreed budgets within the annual budgeting process.
Requirements
Experience in a similar role within an NHS trust.
ACCA qualified or equivalent
