Role Overview
Seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to provide proactive financial support, insight, and challenge across a complex public sector organisation. The role partners with senior stakeholders to drive financial sustainability, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the effective allocation of resources in line with organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Experience in a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or similar finance role.
* Proven experience providing financial advice and challenge to senior managers and budget holders.
* Experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.
* Experience analysing complex financial information and translating it into meaningful business insight.
* Experience supporting organisational change, transformation, or service improvement initiatives.
* Experience building effective relationships across multiple departments and stakeholders.
* Experience working within a large, complex organisation, ideally within Local Government, Housing, or the wider Public Sector.
