This is an ideal move for a full or part qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or AAT Qualified accountant seeking a varied role which offers a hands on role covering management accounting, budgeting and business partnering duties in this newly created post.

Your New Role as Finance Business Partner:

Reporting to the CFO, as Finance Business Partner specific responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the coordination of month end close down processes
• Produce timely and accurate management accounting reports
• Assist with budget setting and monitoring
• Assist the CFO with the production of annual financial statements
• Posting accruals, prepayments and adjustments
• Production of monthly reconciliations
• Working closely with senior school colleagues including Headteachers to deliver key financial insight to support financial decision making
• Support continual improvement initiatives relating to systems, procedures and controls

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA part qualified. Strong communication skills are imperative as you will be required to build and maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders. Experience within an education setting isn’t essential, however you must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes working independently and utilising the support of the CFO.
