Finance Business Partner

Our client, a growing international organisation based on the outskirts of Canterbury is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their expanding finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, private equity-backed business supporting high-profile projects across the EMEA region.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, driving commercial decision-making, and ensuring the smooth running of the finance function across multiple international entities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts for UK and overseas entities.

Support month-end reporting, financial consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations.

Manage cashflow reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Oversee transactional finance, including supplier invoices, customer billing, and employee expenses.

Produce insightful reports for the board and investors, providing meaningful financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax regulations, and audit requirements.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency across the finance function.

Business partner with operational teams, providing commercial support and financial guidance.

Skills & Experience

ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or actively studying towards qualification.

Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, or Management Accountant.

Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent commercial awareness.

Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Advanced Excel skills and confidence using finance systems

Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.

Previous experience within a project-based, engineering, construction, or professional services environment would be advantageous.
