The job:
To be the lead financial advisor to an Executive Director, Members, Assistant Directors and external groups
Responsible for planning and leading complex projects for a Directorate, including analysing the financial and non-financial implications of changes in the law, policies and strategies
To lead effective liaison, negotiations and communications with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to ensure financial management considerations are properly consideredThe candidate:
CCAB qualified
In depth knowledge of local authority accounting guidance and practice.
Experience of using Agresso
