Finance Assistant / Administrator (Property / Industrial)

£25,000 - £30,000 DOE + training + development + potential for progression

Colwick, Nottingham

Do you have bookkeeping experience, looking for a hugely varied role where no two days will be the same, within a multi-faceted SME which promotes a collaborative and friendly atmosphere, where you will join a small team which work across numerous functions, in a diverse role which will see you covering accounts and admin activities, as well as the potential to progress longer term into a management role for the Property lettings side of the business?

Are you looking to receive 1:1 training, to develop your skills and enable you to move into a more senior / management role after 2 years, for an energetic and vibrant company which retains a family feel and will promote your work / life balance?

The company offer a range of services, including commercial and industrial lettings, industrial equipment hire and metal recycling. It is a family owned business, which prides itself on it's range of specialist services and excellent reputation. This is a company which will value your skills and knowledge, as you will pay a pivotal role across all areas of the business.

You will be responsible for completing a range of bookkeeping and accounts duties, working across multiple areas of the business and assisting the FC. You will also assist with various administrative duties across the business, including speaking with clients over the phone, and responding to enquiries. There will also be the long term potential to move into a managerial role in the property department.

The role:

Office based
Processing sales invoices
Sales ledger and purchase ledger
Maintain financial records
Assist the FC
Potentially assisting with payroll
Speaking with clients over the phone, face to face and via email
General administrative duties - assisting other departments
Potential for part time if this is a requirement, DOE (min 4 days per week)The person:

Bookkeeping / Accounts experience
