Accounts Payable Finance Assistant
3 month contract, temp to perm opportunity
£14.96 per hour plus holiday
Based Plymouth
37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity to join a busy Finance Team dealing with high volume accounts payable queries.
You should have experience of working in a busy, high volume, Accounts Payable department, be used to multitasking, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, able to manage your time efficiently in order to complete all necessary task
You should be conscientious, detail focussed and methodical with good computer skills, preferable with experience of different company systems
Your duties will include processing of invoices and credit notes via capture software, the matching of invoice and credit notes in readiness for payment on company software, processing of weekly supplier payments and dealing with external and internal queries via email and telephone
Other duties will include investigating and resolving outstanding creditor items, the issuing of petty cash to internal staff, ensuring the correct controls are followed along with the month end journal procedure and Company Credit card reconciliation, along with the month end journal procedure
