Overview of role:

This role reports into the Commercial Accountant of CorEnergy. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day financial matters of the business.

This is a great opportunity for those who have a few years of experience working in a similar role but looking for a new challenge. Your experience will help you implement a robust Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process for a new dynamic finance function at CorEnergy due to their rapid growth.

You will be working alongside skilled and supportive colleagues and supervision / guidance will be provided to help you develop and upskill where required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing the Accounts Payable from new supplier on boarding to processing supplier payment.

Managing the Accounts Receivable from new customer onboarding to chasing customer for payment.
Challenge the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing processes.

Bank reconciliation.

Processing inter-company invoices and agreeing the inter-company balances.

Managing the aging reports, ensure the ledgers are up to date before the month-end.

Meeting the month-end cut-off deadline.

Support audit investigations and audit work for internal and external auditors.

Supporting the business with any ad hoc queries.
Skills and Experience:

Excellent organisational and administrative skills, able to prioritise a high volume of work & wide range of tasks.

Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing at all levels within an organisation to develop effective and collaborative working relationships.

Driven individual with excellent attention to detail.

Strong team player

Highly proficient in Microsoft office software with a particular focus on Excel

Experience using Microsoft Navision.
