Finance Assistant

Description:

A well-established, manufacturing organisation based in Slough is currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 4-month FTC.

Working as part of a small finance team, the successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, which will include:

Ensuring that customer product price lists, costs and contracts are all accurate and in place
Drafting regular reports on business material usage
Generating quotations from information provided by the sales team and ensuring these are completed in a timely manner
Providing feedback on sales and operations performance
Providing support across various aspects of the finance department including but not limited to: processing invoices and payments, accounts payable and receivable (AR) as well as cash and bank reconciliations.This role is likely to suit a finance/accounting, maths or business graduate with strong numerical skills, preferably with an A level in Maths. In addition, you will possess excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and good analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be numerical, have good communication skills and be a team player.
