We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Assistant to join our clients growing finance team based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Bank reconciliations
* Supporting month-end processes
* Updating and maintaining accurate financial records
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Experience using Excel, accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
