Finance Assistant

Description:

CMA are partnering with a well-known local employer to recruit a Finance Assistant initially for a 3 month period.  The role will be joining a dynamic and vibrant finance team; reporting into the Transactional Manager, supporting the processing of the sales and purchase ledgers.  The role is offered on a part-time basis of 25 hours per week.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

Purchase order and invoice entry.
Processing supplier queries.
Reconciling supplier statements. 
Preparing and processing nominal ledger payments.
Processing sales invoices.
Supporting credit control tasks.
Posting credit card transactions and reconciling to account statement.
 ad-hoc tasks as required.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

AAT 3 or relevant experience gained in a similar role.
Experience of Sage would be advantageous but not essential.
Positive attitude and happy to assist where needed.
