Description:
Post invoices to SAGE and the Projects system, manage expense reports, reconcile finance data, handle statements and queries, ensure VAT receipts, allocate payments, and assist with sourcing and project admin. Raise and journal client invoices, allocate receipts, perform daily bank reconciliations, collate payment runs, and manage filing.

Our client, a leading marketing business based in Waterlooville are expanding, and looking to bring in a Finance Assistant to assist with the day-to-day finance function.
Description
Finance Assistant:
Post Invoice to SAGE, where required post into the Projects system and reconcile
Journal invoice to correct month, adding to accruals/prepayment schedule
Work with the projects team to identify and post courier costs
Expense management: Upload all credit card statements, approve tagged transactions and check against the project management system.
Manage finance data exports by thoroughly checking, coding and preparing to import into SAGE
Check off statements as they arrive and deal with any queries
Ensure final VAT receipts/invoices are gained
Allocation of payments against invoices, ensuring ledgers are accurate
Assist with research/ sourcing of goods online and general project admin
Receive client POs and raise invoices in project management system for the project team where required and SAGE
Journal invoice to correct month, adding to accruals/prepayment schedule

Finance Assistant:
Experience in administration
Good level of finance experience (AAT 2+)
Good knowledge of general business procedures
Attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
Good MS Excel skills
Organisational and time-management skills
