Finance Assistant

Description:

CMA is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading SME business located on the outskirts of Portsmouth, for the recruitment of a Finance Assistant.

This newly created role has arisen due to organic company growth and internal employee progression, and is based in an experienced, friendly team.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

Processing purchase ledger and accounts receivable invoices
Dealing with and resolving supplier queries
Monthly processing of employee expenses
Posting sales ledger income accruals/pre-payments
Working closely alongside the Assistant Accountant and taking on additional duties as required.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

Possess sound, transactional accounts experience
Studying towards the AAT qualification (or equivalent) is desired
Be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail
Possess good communication skills and have knowledge of Sage, Xero or similar
Able to confidently use Excel (pivot tables, v look ups etc)
