About the Role:
Are you a Finance Professional seeking a new challenge? Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced organisation, is currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive financial administration support across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, managing supplier queries, reconciling accounts, and producing essential financial reports.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage finance mailboxes, ensuring timely response to emails and resolution of queries.
Process purchase orders and supplier invoices via the purchase-to-pay (P2P) system, addressing discrepancies and escalating issues as needed.
Ensure accurate coding and authorization of invoices and expenses in line with organizational policies.
Maintain supplier records and conduct supplier statement reconciliations.
Support daily bank reconciliations and produce cash flow management information.
Assist in month-end procedures including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable reports, ensuring accuracy in income allocation.
Chase outstanding income in accordance with payment terms policy.
Requirements
About You:
Previous experience in a finance department with proficient Excel skills.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Flexibility to support team needs and contribute to KPI achievement.
Experience with purchase-to-pay (P2P) systems preferred.
