TEMPORARY FINANCE ASSISTANT - £14.87 PER HOUR
Location: Carlisle Airport, own transport essential
Pay: £14.87 per hour
Duration: Initially 1 month, with the potential to be extended

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis for an initial period of 1 month.
This role could potentially extend beyond the initial month, as the company is also recruiting for a permanent member of the finance team. For the right candidate, there could even be an opportunity to secure a permanent position!
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Processing the weekly payroll and associated journals
Taking ownership of cashflow and related tasks
Preparing month-end journals, reporting and reconciliations
Assisting the Financial Controller with supporting reconciliations and reporting
Liaising with the Commercial team regarding contract sales and costs reporting
About You
We're looking for someone with previous finance/accounts experience who can hit the ground running.
Payroll experience would be a great advantage, although it's not essential. We're particularly interested in candidates who are confident working with figures, organised, accurate and comfortable working within a busy finance environment.
