The key responsibilities of a Finance Assistant will include, but may not be limited to;
Providing financial administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and record-keeping.
Processing invoices, payments, and receipts promptly.
Assisting with financial audits and compliance checks.
Liaising with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
Participating in financial planning and project meetings.
Supporting the team with other finance-related tasks as needed.Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
Not for Profit and Charities background.
Clear Enhanced DBS Check.
Ability to commute to Wigan, Leigh daily.
A solid foundation in accounting and finance principles.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
