I am recruiting an immediate start Finance Assistant for a business in Lincoln, initially for a temporary contract with the potential to be made permanent. I am looking to speak to people with some experience in finance looking for progression and development opportunities.

My client is a business based in central Lincoln with excellent transport links. They have a fantastic team culture, with regular team and social events. My client have a hybrid, flexible approach to working with 1 day working from home and flexible working hours.

Description

The Finance Assistant's role will be varied. Duties of the Finance Assistant will include but are not limited to:

Dealing with all aspects of the purchase ledger including processing purchase orders and invoices
Support with payment runs and suppliers
Liaise with suppliers and internal customers to resolve any purchase order, invoice or payment queries
Reconciling Supplier Statements
Managing and reconciling Petty Cash

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

Have demonstrated experience working in Finance
Proficiency in MS Excel and experience using Accounting software.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with colleagues and suppliers.Job Offer
