CMA Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a well-established business based in Totton, Hampshire, on a temporary basis. This assignment will last c6-9 weeks while they recruit on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual that will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving commercial environment.
What will the Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant role involve?
Ensuring all receipts and card payments are reconciled and allocated on a daily basis.
Liaising with Sales Executives and Managers to confirm payments have been received.
Daily cash account reviews, working with the Senior Accounts Assistant to ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner and deposits have been allocated.
Providing general accounts office support including responding to queries from internal and external auditor when required.
Working as part of a team of qualified and unqualified accounting and finance professionals.
Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Regional Accountant.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant vacancy:
A strong background in an accounting support role, with solid experience in accounting software as well as being competent in Excel.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident working to deadlines and targets with high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build working relationships with colleague as you will be interacting with various departments in your role.
