Description:
Direct Response Employment services are delighted to be supporting a local company in Frome who are actively seeking a finance assistant to join the team on a temporary basis, for roughly 2-3 months.
Main duties:
* Dealing with incoming phone calls from customers.
* Provide customers with copy documents as and when required.
* Take credit card payments over the phone
* Post and allocate payments on customer accounts.
* Liase with the sales department to resolve customer issues.
* Monitor credit limits and payment terms.
* Credit application checks.
* Bank reconciliation.
* Invoice and credit note uploads.
* Setting up payments on the bank for staff/refunds to customers.
* Send customer statements out.
* Credit card reconciliation.
We are looking for someone who has previous finance / accounts experience. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently along with being a team player.
The ideal candidate will have excellent I.T skills, experience with Sage would be ideal but not essential.
Working hours Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30 however there can be some flexibility around start and finish times.
