WE Talent are currently working with a global business based in Colchester, that are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their organisation.
This innovative business has international coverage and is looking for the right candidate to join their finance function.
This role will suit a highly motivated and experienced Finance Assistant who is looking for a position where they can utilise their experience and progress long term. They offer fantastic benefits, including a competitive holiday scheme, hybrid working after probation and free lunches!

The duties include:
* Generate, dispatch, and monitor invoices, and upload them to customer portals when necessary.
* Gather data for reporting purposes.
* Assist in facilitating year-end audit inquiries.
* Identify and report any discrepancies.
* Arrange payments for employee expenses.
* Propose enhancements for accuracy and efficiency while contributing to cost reduction efforts.
* Input purchase ledger overhead costs, credit card transactions, and expenses into the SAP B1 accounting system.
* Perform bank reconciliations.
* Deliver ad-hoc reports upon management requests
Experience needed:
* Previous Finance/Accounting experience – understanding of finance systems and processes
* AAT level 3 qualification (with consider candidates studying at this level)
* Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel (intermediate) and Outlook
* SAP B1 experience
* Has an understanding of data privacy and confidentiality standards
