Description:
Our Stoke-on-Trent client are currently expanding their team and is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join them and help manage our accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation, with a range of responsibilities that will keep you engaged and motivated every day.
Responsibilities:
Take charge of the sales and purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers, addressing any enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
Maintain records and ledgers meticulously, keeping them up-to-date and in compliance with regulations
Provide vital support to our Financial Controller, assisting with financial reporting and analysis
Complete general administrative tasks, including call handling and other office duties
Requirements:
Solid experience in similar roles, with a minimum of 4 years in accounting
Proficient in using Sage 50 Cloud, or a working knowledge of similar accounting software
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word
Accounts qualifications would be beneficial, but not essential, as we are committed to providing full training to the right candidate
Offering full-time hours, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Alongside a competitive salary ranging from £24,000.00 to £26,000.00 per year, they also provide a pleasant and supportive working environment, with room for personal and professional growth.
