Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance administration or transactional finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will support both income and expenditure functions, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
Managing purchase ledger activities
Supporting payment runs
Maintaining supplier records
Assisting with account reconciliations
Raising sales invoices
Allocating incoming receipts
Resolving finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day administration
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment
Good understanding of accounting and financial administration processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise workload effectively
Excellent organisational skills
Confident communication and customer service skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Strong team-working ability
Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
