Description:
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading organisation based in Ely as they seek to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role has become available due to growth within the organisation and an increased workload within finance, and within the role you will report into the Head of Finance. This role will offer hybrid working after an initial office based training period, with up to 2 days working from home available.
As the incoming Finance Assistant, you will be trained and tasked with the following duties:
Process purchase invoices and payments
Maintain financial records and reconciliations
Support management accounts and reporting
Assist with payroll administration
Respond to finance queries and provide team supportAs the successful candidate for this position, you will have previously worked within a finance/accounting role for ideally 1-2 years and be keen to progress and develop further. You will also ideally be studying or have an interest in studying either AAT or ACCA/CIMA. Due to the nature of this role, excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy are paramount in being successful in this position.
