A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a people-focused organisation in Barnstaple.
 
We're currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established and supportive team based in Barnstaple.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' finance experience who is looking for a varied role, greater responsibility and the flexibility to achieve a strong work-life balance.

The Role
This is a varied Finance Assistant position, giving you exposure to a broad range of finance activities. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing purchase orders and invoices
Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Managing debtors and outstanding payments
Processing and arranging payments
Reconciling company credit cards
Reconciling bank accounts
Setting up money transfers
Providing general finance administration and support
Assisting with wider finance tasks and projects as required It's a role that offers plenty of variety, so we're looking for someone who enjoys getting involved, isn't afraid to take ownership and is happy to adapt as priorities change.
 
What We're Looking For
 
You'll ideally have 1-2 years' experience within a finance or accounts environment, together with a positive and proactive approach.
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are:

Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
Positive, driven and focused
Highly organised with good attention to detail
A confident communicator and team player
Practical, proactive and solutions-focused
Someone with a genuine can-do attitude
