Job Title: Finance and Practice Manager

Location: Pershore

Pay rate/Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 D.O.E

Hours of Work: 8 hours a day, Mon – Thur 08:00 – 20:00 &

5.5 hours a day on Fridays, 8:00 – 2:30

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Finance Manager, that is experienced and qualified in accountancy in Pershore, and be an industry expert who gives a personal approach to accounting and tax. This is a close-knit team of around 35 employees spread over 4 unique offices, and you will be We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic qualified accountant to take on the role of Finance and Practice Manager in Pershore.

Duties of a Finance and Practice Manager

Overall management responsibility for the finance function.
Continued development internal systems and the practice database.
Management of the sales ledger including direct debit collections and credit control.
Compliance with the ICAEW and other regulations
Production of monthly management accounts, KPI’s and other financial reports.
Managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
Expenses and disbursement management for the firm.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Support with adhoc projects and the continued growth of the business.
Providing commercial support to the teams across all the offices.
Managing facilities, IT and HR.
Skills and experience Required

As a Finance Manager, you need have experience with.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified having trained in Practice.
At least 2 years post qualification experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience of report writing.
Good IT skills, particularly Word and Excel.
Commercially aware.
Dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn.
Knowledge of Xero software.
Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Willingness to travel.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Driving licence is essential.
