Finance Analyst | PERMANENT | £28,000 - £31,000 DOE
As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all product costings in the ERP system, supporting the wider finance team by monitoring and reporting on the monthly P&L cost of goods (COGs). You will ensure that product costings are accurate and that COGs are correctly allocated by customer and production work order. Additionally, providing detailed analysis to facilitate accurate manufacturing costings for a variety of product formats, production lengths, and production lines manufactured by the business. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to task completion and workload management to meet deadlines.
A significant part of the role involves communicating detailed financial data to diverse groups of stakeholders, necessitating strong communication and presentation skills to deliver clear and accessible information. The Finance Analyst will also support other members of the beverages finance team by creating sundry invoices and collecting information regarding client recharges, which demands efficient teamwork and coordination.
Working in the Park Beverages finance team requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and lateral thinking from all team members to adapt to new priorities and challenges.
The Key Requirements
Experience of use of SAP / JDE accounting systems
Degree in business or finance/accounting (or equivalent e.g. AAT qualification)
Work Experience in FMCG environment.
Sound understanding of double entry accounting
Excellent organisational skills and time management
Excellent problem-solving skills and an attitude of continuous improvement.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
